The year consists of 3 semesters of 15 weeks each, with the final examinations falling in the last week of each semester. Within each semester, there are provisions made for reading weeks and revision weeks prior to the final examinations. Teaching methodology includes lectures, seminars, group and team projects, directed and independent study. As students progress through the programmes, teaching methodologies become more varied and a heavier reliance is placed on group and individual work. At all levels, the programme is supplemented by guest lectures, field visits and tutorial sessions designed to extend the academic experience beyond the walls of the classroom |
