| Nationality Scholarship Scheme of £ 1000 pounds for the June 2009 intake |
|
For the June 2009 intake, a Nationality scholarship of £1,000 will be awarded to students (whether self payers or sponsored) from the countries listed below. Students do not have to apply for this award. All international students who are accepted unconditionally for a programme at TASMAC London from the countries listed below are automatically eligible for the nationality scholarship.

Countries : Priority for the Nationality Scholarship will be given to students from the following countries, although students from any country other than the UK are eligible.

Merit Based Scholarships
Please find our information regarding the possible scholarships that we have available to applicants of TASMAC London School of Business.
Merit based scholarships at TASMAC London - School of Business are available to students who are eligible for direct entry into our full-time academic award bearing programmes (MBA/BA).
For MBA and BA(Hons) applicants:
Scholarship of £ 1000 to students who meet any one of the following requirements:
- A min GPA of 3.0 / a min average of 75 % in high school for BA / a min average of 70% in the Bachelors degree for MBA
- Evidence of relevant work experience of min 3 years after the Bachelors degree for MBA OR Evidence of relevant work experience of min 6 years for mature entry students of MBA
- A GMAT score of 600 or above.
Fee payment scheme for students receiving this scholarship:
MBA: Deposit of £3000 + £1475 at the time of enrolment at the school + £1475 within 2 months from course commencement = £ 5950.
BA (Hons): For Undergraduate students, the Scholarship of £ 1000 will be distributed between 3 years - with a scholarship of £ 300 to be awarded in Year 1, £ 300 in Year 2 and £ 400 in Year 3 respectively. The BA deposit would be fees for Year 1 of £ 3650.
For MBA Applicants only:
Scholarship of £ 2000 to students who meet any two of the following requirements:
- A min GPA of 3.5 / a min average of 75 % in the Bachelors degree for MBA
- Evidence of relevant work experience of min 5 years after the Bachelors degree for MBA OR
Evidence of relevant work experience of min 8 years for mature entry students of MBA
- A GMAT score of 650 or above.
Fee payment scheme for MBA students receiving this scholarship:
Deposit of £3000 + £1950 on enrolment at the school = £ 4950.
Scholarship of £ 3000 to students who meet BOTH the requirements below:
1. Evidence of relevant work experience of min 7 years after the Bachelors degree for MBA OR
Evidence of relevant work experience of min 10 years for mature entry students of MBA
2. A GMAT score of 700 or above
Fee payment scheme for MBA students receiving this scholarship: Payment of full fee after scholarship of £ 3950 as deposit.
If you wish to apply for a scholarship, you should send us an essay of a minimum of 300 words on a separate sheet of paper, entitled "Scholarship Support Statement"explaining:
- Why you deserve the scholarship (your academic or professional qualities and your personal circumstances).
- How will studying for a further business degree at TASMAC London contribute to your career?
- What do you have to offer to the TASMAC London student body?
The "Scholarship Support Statement" Should be submitted at the same time as your application by email, fax or post. We will not be able to consider hand-written essays, so please submit a typed copy only. Please note that decisions on scholarships are solely based on procedures instituted by the Scholarship Committee at TASMAC London – School of Business.
Sibling and Spouse Scholarships :
We are committed to rewarding the loyalty of students who have a sibling (e.g. brother or sister) or spouse (e.g. husband or wife) studying at TASMAC London. International applicants with a sibling who has studied or is studying at TAMSAC London may be eligible for a 5% fee reduction for the duration of the course. A Sibling Scholarship Form will need to be completed. This scholarship will be in the form of a discount, given to the student on the total fee that is payable to TASMAC London after deductions of the nationality Scholarship.

| We offer a special Refer a Friend Reward of £ 200 offered to a student for every friend that he/she refers to TASMAC London and who successfully enrolls for a Degree programme. This reward is given to the student in the form of a cheque after his/her friend enrolls at TASMAC London. The Refer a Friend Reward is not limited to a certain number of friends that can be referred. One student can choose to refer any number of friends who may be interested in a programme at TASMAC London. However, the decision on whether a friend was an actual and fair referral by a student or not, is at the discretion of TASMAC London, based on evidence available. A student who refers his/her spouse or sibling will not receive a Refer a Friend Reward as the spouse/ sibling will receive the scholarship below. |

In addition to the above, students may receive a 5 per cent fee waiver on their tuition fees, if they make a full fee payment before commencement of the programme / at the time of registration. This fee waiver will apply to the amount that the student owes TASMAC London after the Nationality scholarship and Sibling/ Spouse Scholarship (if applicable) are deducted. For more information on the 5 % fee waiver on full fees paid, please refer to the section on the specific programme in this literature. This fee waiver is only on tuition fees and does not apply to accommodation charges.
Terms and Conditions for all Scholarships / Fee Waivers above:
Applicants must hold an unconditional offer for a BA (Hons) in Business Administration or MBA programme at TASMAC London.
The value of the scholarship will be deducted from the programme/ tuition fee. This means that the sum you will be asked to pay will be the equivalent of the programme/ tuition fee minus the value of the scholarship.
Applicants must complete the relevant form to apply for a Sibling/Spouse/ Refer a Friend Reward. |
