Leadership, creativity, the ability to communicate effectively and to be a part of a team are all regarded as important components of a successful commercial career. At TASMAC we are aware of how essential it is develop transferable skills outside of academic study. It is our aim to encourage students to become autonomous learners since today, the onus for skills development is shifting from organisations to individuals. Students are made to learn to identify their own strengths and weaknesses, enabling them to become more effective, both during their studies and eventually in their workplace.
The programmes have been developed in conjunction with the University of Wales and conform to the high academic standards expected out of a British University programme. The academic staff at TASMAC and the University are in regular contact to collaborate on issues relating to academic development.
