Coming to study at a University in the UK is a fantastic opportunity. For many international students the style of teaching can be different. The fact that all programmes are taught and instructed in English can be a challenge for many.
English Language Support will provide services and non-credit programs to support students whose first language of academic study is not English. It will also ensure students have opportunities to make successful transitions to the university setting.

The ELS staff bring many years of language-learning, international living, and university teaching experience to our work. We recognize that individual students have individual needs and we are committed to delivering a variety of English language support programs and services that fit into students busy lives. The aim of our programs is to assist students to improve overall communication skills.
The TASMAC London English Language Support (ELS) programme is here to help you meet these challenges by |
developing your confidence in the use of your existing English language skills; |
improving these skills, especially the English you use for academic purposes; |
familiarizing you with the methods of study and assessment used in a British university ; |
helping you to discover more about Britain and the British way of life. |

At TASMAC London we realize that students may need extra support with their studies, and that is why we offer three different areas of help. TASMAC London offers English Language Support (ELS) programmes to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. You may approach the ELS director at any time if you feel you need help with communication in English for your studies.
